Finally a professional, high quality rule at a great price! No more laying out a machinists rule, laying another at the end, and repeating that move all the way down your work table. And now to retire that Starrett gadget that clamps two together to the antiques store!

I got my first PEC 6" Machinist rule when I got to my first sea going command at SanDiego in 1991 as a US Navy Machinist. I still have that ruler. I now have a 15 year old son and I just got him his first tool set and I decided to get him his own PEC Machinist rule for him to use.

I have the 6", 12" and 24" Rigid Rules in my woodworking shop. They are as the name says, "rigid" and they are accurate. They are very well constructed and the markings are engraved deep enough to set your marking knife or gauge to get the exact measurement you want.
Well worth the money.
