Now Hiring: Technical Product Development Engineer (Full-Time, On-Site – Torrance, CA)

We are seeking someone with hands-on CNC experience who understands both design and production. Proficiency in G-code programming, CAD/CAM (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Mastercam), and machining processes is essential. You should be comfortable reading drawings, setting up machines, and optimizing manufacturing steps for accuracy and efficiency. A detail-oriented, problem-solving mindset is key β€” and if you speak Spanish, that’s a plus!

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and document manufacturing process plans based on new and existing product designs.
  • Create and interpret technical sketches and engineering drawings to support production.
  • Program and set up CNC machines (G-code) for prototype and production runs.
  • Determine the most efficient machining sequence, tools, and fixtures for each product.
  • Work closely with the Production Manager and shop team to ensure precision, repeatability, and quality in every build.
  • Troubleshoot and refine manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and consistency.

Who You Are:

  • A technically skilled engineer or machinist with a strong understanding of CNC programming, setup, and operation.
  • Experienced in manufacturing or product engineering, or a recent graduate with hands-on machining experience and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate clearly with production staff and management.
  • English required; Spanish a plus.
  • U.S. work authorization preferred, but citizenship not required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in CNC programming and setup (G-code, M-code, Haas or Fanuc controls).
  • Experience with CAD/CAM software such as SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or Mastercam.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing process design, from raw material to finished part.
  • Familiarity with machining operations (milling, turning, grinding) and fixture/tooling setup.
  • Knowledge of precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, height gauges) and basic GD&T principles.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and produce engineering drawings and process documentation.
  • Hands-on experience validating setups and process changes in a production environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive pay and steady Monday–Friday hours.
  • Health insurance coverage.
  • Hands-on experience with CNC machining and process development.
  • Opportunity for professional growth in a stable, USA-based manufacturer.
  • Occasional travel opportunities to trade shows to connect directly with customers and industry partners.
  • A small, dedicated team environment where your technical input directly shapes real products.
