Description
- Fixed Angle Versatility: Although the head is "plain" (no etched degree lines), it is precision-cut to provide internal reference angles of 30°, 45°, and 60°. This allows for quick side-by-side comparisons of chamfers and countersinks.
- Recessed Head Design: The center of the gage head features a unique recess cut-out. This allows the rule to sit perfectly flush against the workpiece, providing a more accurate depth reading and making the etched markings on the rule easier to read at a glance.
- Narrow Profile Rule: Includes a 6" Hardened and Tempered Steel Rule. At only 7/32" wide, it is specifically designed to enter narrow slots and small diameter holes where standard rules simply won't fit.
- Industrial Strength: The head is crafted from Hardened Tool Steel and the base surface is precision ground to 2-1/2" x 1/8". This heavy-duty construction prevents the tool from rocking, ensuring a stable, repeatable measurement every time.
- Deeply Etched Markings: The rule features black, high-contrast markings that are etched into the steel—not printed—so they will never rub off or fade, even after years of contact with cutting fluids and shop grime.
