    I love the square. It’s square and the markings are accurate and readable. However, it came in a blow-molded non-recyclable plastic box which it will never be inside of again. I recommend less plastic packaging.

    We chose this custom-fit case to ensure the tool's precision is protected during shipping. Rather than using single-use packaging, we hoped it would serve as a reusable protective layer against workshop elements or for when you need to travel with your tools. That said, we completely understand your perspective, and I will share your feedback with the production team. We are always open to making changes to improve the PEC experience.

    This is the Combination Square with 12-inch blade. It is perfectly square 90-degrees, with well made cast iton head. It took a minute to get delivered. It comes in a blow molded case, howeverwhen stored in the case the rule must be disconnected from the head, necessitating having to re-attach them every time the square is used, and potentially causing the unit to become out of square over time - not a good design

    We really appreciate you sharing this feedback! You make a great point regarding our packaging. Historically, we designed individual slots to ensure each component is held securely for the safest possible delivery.

    However, we totally agree that workshop convenience is just as important as shipping safety! After I shared your note with the team, they jumped into brainstorming immediately.
