I ordered the 36" 4R and received it quickly in very secure packaging. This ruler has clean etchings for numerics and graduations. The photo shows the 32nd and 64th side as an example. Ruler thickness is such that if you balance the rule at the 18" mark, the ends droop about 1" each.
To safely store the ruler, I drilled a hole using 1/8" and 1/4" carbide drills with cutting fluid at 500 RPM. I feel a lot better now that I can hang it on a nail against a wall.
I can't imagine a better-made ruler. A friend asked me why I would spend so much on a ruler and when he saw my PEC 36" 4R, I think he understood why.
