After many years in the Tool and Die trade and now as a machine shop owner, I have gone through plenty of pocket rules, from cheap imports to high end Japanese brands. PECβs tools stand out above them all. Not only are their prices competitive, but the quality and craftsmanship of true American manufacturing that go into each pocket rule are absolutely immaculate.
I do not see myself buying anything other than PEC Tools from here on out. The entire experience was excellent, from outstanding customer service and fast shipping to real world performance on the shop floor. My team uses these daily, and neither coolant, oil, nor shop grime have had any effect on the black chrome finish.
We also love that PEC Tools makes these right here in California, just south of us. You have earned a lifelong customer.

As a Tooling engineer and now a business owner I've had many 6" pocket Rulers, all of which lacked one thing, Craftsmanship and American Pride! Everything from calling PEC Tools and being introduced to sales reps for my business and great customer service to unboxing and seeing that "Made in U.S.A." proudly shining, to using the ruler every single day has been a great experience. Oil, coolant, grinding dust, all wipe off and seem to have no effect on the Black Chrome finish or the white markings. I can confirm this is the best one I've ever owned and will continue buying them from PEC.
